The wiring directions for the Duet strongly recommend crimping ferrules on the end of the wires before inserting into the terminal block, for fire safety and reliability reasons.
Recommend fully seating the bearings onto the posts before screwing the parts together. Screwing the parts together will also fully seat the bearings, but will require a fair amount of torque on a Phillips head screw going into plastic, which is somewhat awkward to achieve.
I used a 1/4” 12-point socket, and Knipex pliers, as an improvised bearing press, and it required very little force. If you don’t have Knipex pliers yet, other smooth-jaw adjustable pliers might work, or use a rubber mallet or screwdriver handle to gently tap the 1/4” socket.
