The unit that I purchased in March 2018 had two flame cut longer brackets instead of the four printed brackets mentioned above. One end was straight, which goes towards the center of the panel.
The above comments where very helpful. I also found that I needed to use a small file to remove flash around the very tip of each post in order to start the posts into the holes. If you do that, be careful not to remove any more than the flash.

One end of the each of the thermistor wires was a crimped on contact. The contacts must be on the top end of the tower, not the base.
