| [* 1] Use a pair of pliers to crimp the ferrule to the leads. Do this in three steps, roughly locate the midpoint of the ferrule and crimp the upper portion (side with the thermal safety fuse lead), then the lower side (side with the heater cartridge lead), and finally crimp one last time in the center of the ferrule. | |
