Yup, that was missing. And it never said to install the blue things earlier. Would have been much easier before we put on the top.
There is a step missing. Never said to install the LCD board onto it's side plate.
Wait, OK. For reference, the earlier steps had us already connect all the ends on these cables. Then here it asks you to run them through the blocks (which they can't) and THEN connect them. Seems the two are at odds. Since ours were alrady connected, we left them so and just used cables ties to keep things organized.
So from reading ahead it appears to be the wire that isn't connected to the power supply. Which means it's the one coming out of tower X. Hopefully that's right :) And this comment will help others.
This step doesn't state which black cable to connect!
Obviously this step has to include "Tighten the tbolts" but doesn't as a future step is 'lay the machine on it's side'
Not to complain (but I am). But by this point the quality of the instructions has gone completely downhill. Especially for a $1000 kit. The beginning instructions were great, telling you exactly what bolts/nuts/etc to use along each step of the way. The last few (and this one is a perfect example) are nothing like that. You have a low resolution video showing it going together, (which you can't read any text from), and then a few tips & final photos listed here. Nowhere did it say what screws to use, what nuts, etc. Had to do the 'rong ones' a couple times here before I realized the right bolts for the power plug (and that it used the T-nuts)
My son and I are ASSUMING that we are supposed to complete all three at this point? The instructions only are for one from the inner/outer part, and it never says "Now assemble the other two"
My fans didn't have white connectors on them, and I can't find them anywhere :-/
The red end of the thermal safety fuse was REALLY in the way. And pushing on it to try to bend it would try to push it out of the heat sink. Anyway, had to use the screws to basically clamp down on it after lots of fighting. Changing the instructions above to route the cable a little better/differently so that it won't be in the way could be super helpful. But after soldering it was too late.
