The picture in step 52 has the short side of the panel next to the red filament release. This is the opposite of the picture in step 51.
The picture in step 51 has the short side of the panel away from the red filament release. This is the opposite of the picture in step 52. The picture in step 52 agrees with the picture in step 61, and is more in line with the whip, I think this picture is bad.
These instructions contradict themselves, it says that the red boxes are common to all seemecnc printers, and then one of the bullets talks about changing a red box for 2 specific printers.
What’s too hot? What’s too long?
How do you submit a ticket?
I’m so glad I guessed correctly. :)
It’s a little weird that the screws that go through the switches, and anchor into the plastic are the kinds of screws that I would expect to have nuts (not to dig into plastic to be secure). It’s also weird that they stick out on the other side (enough for a nut really, but with no nut). I think it might be worth a picture of the other side of the switch, so people know what to expect. I actually used the wrong set of 6 screws the before going back to fix it, I used the ones that were the right length and meant to dig into plastic.
+1 to Vance Howard’s comment
In “Step 6 Prepare the Power Supply”, the picture shows 4 screws, and for nuts, but you actually only use 2 nuts in that step.
That threw me for… an embarrassing amount of time. :)
